Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information TruckReport USA (truckreport.net) handles when you visit the site or write to us.
What we collect
- When you browse: nothing that identifies you by name. We have no user accounts, comment sections, sign-up forms or advertising. If you click Accept, Google Analytics counts your visit (see below).
- When you email us: if you write to info@truckreport.net, we receive your name, your email address and whatever you put in your message.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes standard technical data, such as your IP address and your browser's user agent, to deliver pages and to protect the site against abuse and attacks. We do not use this data to identify or profile visitors.
Google Analytics (only if you accept)
We use Google Analytics, a Google service, to count visits and see which pages are read. It runs only after you click Accept. If you click Decline or make no choice, it does not load and nothing is sent to Google.
When it runs, Google receives your IP address, browser details and the pages you view, and may process this data outside Canada, including in the United States. We use it only to count visits. We do not use it for advertising.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page or the button at the top of this page.
Fonts
Our fonts are served from our own server. Your browser does not contact any third-party font service when you read the site.
Cookies
Unless you accept, this site sets no cookies. We store your choice (accept or decline) in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. It contains no personal information, is never sent to us, and you can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies whose names start with "_ga". They keep counting your visits for up to two years. If you later decline, we delete them.
How we use your email
We use what you send us only to reply to you or to handle your request. Messages are kept in our mail system. We do not sell or share your information with anyone, except where the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to info@truckreport.net.
Person responsible for personal information
The person responsible for the protection of personal information is the publisher of TruckReport USA. Contact: info@truckreport.net.
Changes
If we ever add advertising or change how we use analytics, we will update this policy first. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
